Absolutely wonderful magical stay and there was nothing not to like!!

We loved everything, the rooms, the pool, the food, the cleanliness, entertainment, afternoon bar and snacks, the staff, Christmas Eve dinner and party, the golf course, kids club area, opposite the beach, easy access to taxi’s, top washing service and attention to detail on every level and breakfast buffet exceptional!! Plus amazing with my son who has major food allergies. Thank you !!

The varnishing and painting of the rooms nearby as the fumes went into our rooms and really toxic smell, which meant my daughter and grandchild had to move to another room further away from ours in the end, her husband had a severe skin reaction.. really not a good thing to have to experience whilst on holiday. Lots of broken glass on the beach opposite hotel, such a shame as it’s such a lovely beach. Paying for pool towels when going out for the day, I think putting a deposit on them is more acceptable than having to pay to loan them, I’ve never had to do that before and don’t really agree with it. Thank you

It was a great time

Breakfast was fantastic. Swimming pool is amazing, especially for children. Rooms are spacious and good. Beds are comfortable.

Work of the waitress during the dinner. First you need to wait long for menu and after that for the order. You need two good hours to get dinner in the hotel

The facilities and food were excellent. Perhaps for breakfast you can add more waiters. There were a lot of staff to clean but noticed that waiters a few ones.

Nice but isolated 5 stars hotel

Sofitel Krabi is a beautiful hotel with huge swimming pool and 9 holes golf course. Team of the hotel was great and warm welcoming, always available and helping. One of the best point. I have been upgraded with a nice suite, so just perfect :-)

Few details, Hotel is in front of a beach but separated by a road, so little noice from car traffic. They restart working, so breakfast was ok but not great for me. Im French, bread and croissant need to be perfect! Location is not so great. If you want to stay at the hotel, thats ok, but if you want to visit different places, you need to have a car and keep in mind time to reach different interesting sightseeings. (1h30 to Emerald pool for instance) If you want to have a drink and nightlife, need a car too.

Hotel is very big with big big pool! Our room has an access to the pool which is great and recommended. There are so many activities that you can enjoy. International buffet is great! Love the yoghurt :)

- Unfortunately the hotel is quite far from the sea :( - parking lot is limited - The bed is not as comfy as my expectation

Awesome

Beautiful and luxurious hotel. Has a really big, clean and nice pool. It was generally quiet, maybe we were at the beginning of the season - December.The breakfast was on high level - big choice and great quality food. The room had nice view, was big and cozy, nothing overly special as interior compared to other such hotels.

The two disadvantages were we were not offered excursions organized by the hotel (minimum guests required 8) except one which was more expensive than the local tour agencies. Also they offer some additional activities like yoga, pilates, Thai language lesson but you have to plan and book it which is not always an option when you are on vacation.

VIP treatment in a french resort!

Great time here: kindly staff, breakfast is superb, the rooms are good and have a great amenities kit from L'occitane (wife loved). The pool is amazing we received some free cocktails and fruits during sunbath, the landscape is fantastic, three restaurants, one spa. Everything a bit overpriced, but you are at Sofitel, so you can pay the brand or search other options nearby: we enjoyed also massage and other restaurants in the neighborhood, they are great options, without the same sophisticated environment, but good quality at the end of the day.

The beach only can be enjoyed during low tide and is not as beautiful as we expected. But the amazing pool for sure is a excellent option. The location of the hotel is very calm and peaceful, but far from the Ao Nang center, this can be good or bad depending on what you prefer. We enjoyed this extra privacy. Our suggestion is to have a bigger slide for the kids area of the pool and some more toys for them.

Outstanding Staff

Staff from the Sofitel made by experience better than expected. To be honest, since I was traveling solo and was my first time in Krabi, location was not the ideal. This was a last minute trip and I was a bit overwhelmed for the number of properties and different locations within Krabi so I decided to pick the hotel by brand (and I was avoiding Phuket). The staff helped to enjoy the most and accommodate all my requests. They did and above and beyond work and I am grateful for that. To me, the staff in any hotel can do your experience better or worse. The staff at this hotel excel in their work

Location. This factor depends on what’s the main reason for travel. I guess this hotel is very good for a destination wedding or any conference/meeting since premises and space is huge. To me, I was looking for something different and to be a bit far away impact a bit on how you can move around. There is always grab but that 20 minutes drive to main areas. Also, the fact that there is no private beach for a resort of this type got me wonder.
